ABSTRACT
This study seeks to examine the impact of Work-Life Balance and burnout on employee performance at the Type A Class I Navigation District in Palembang through a quantitative methodology. Data were gathered via questionnaires and literature review, with 70 employees participating as respondents through a saturated sample method. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that Work-Life Balance and burnout exert a favorable and significant influence on employee performance, both individually and collectively. Work-Life Balance has the most substantial influence, evidenced by a t-value of 4.125, surpassing the t-table value of 1.996, and a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Additionally, burnout is significant, with a t-value of 2.280, again beyond the t-table value of 1.996. Both factors concurrently exert a strong influence on performance, as evidenced by an F-value of 126.047, which exceeds the F-table value of 3.13. The primary conclusion reveals that Work-Life Balance is the paramount component in enhancing employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 79.0% of the variance in employee performance is attributable to Work-Life Balance and burnout, with the remaining 21.0% affected by external factors not examined in this study.
