ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB KESALAHAN TRANSAKSI PEMBAYARAN MENGGUNAKAN MESIN ELECTRONIC DATA CAPTURE (EDC) PADA PT MATAHARI DEPARTMENT STORE LIPPO PLAZA BUTON

Abstract

This research aims to determine what factors are causing payment transaction errors
using the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine at PT. Matahari Department Store
Lippo Plaza Buton.This research is a qualitative research. The methods of data collection
are done through documentation, observation, and interview. Technique of data analysis
used qualitative descriptive analysis by Mc.Milla and Schumacher's model. The results
showed that PT Matahari Dept. Store Lippo Plaza Buton uses 2 payment methods, cash
and non-cash. Factors causing payment transaction errors using the Electronic Data
Capture (EDC) machine are 1. Customer Error Input Pin ATM (Wrong Pin), 2. Cashier
Errors Incorrect Input Nominal, and 3. Network Disruptions.
